AA5 is suitable for applications where smaller tensile and compressive forces need to be measured with high precision in limited space. The low profile design makes the sensor easy to mount in fixtures, machines and other technical solutions where stable measurement is required.
The sensor is made of high quality alloy steel and has a zinc plated surface that provides corrosion protection. The applied load is measured with strain gauges connected in a full bridge, which provides an analog signal proportional to the load. AA5 has an IP65 rating and can be used for both tension and compression.
