For very high loads
AG500 is developed for applications where very high tensile and compressive forces need to be measured with a stable and reliable signal. The low profile design makes the sensor suitable for industrial solutions where the load is high but where installation height still needs to be kept low.
The force sensor is made of high quality alloy steel with a zinc plated surface for corrosion protection. The applied load is registered by strain gauges placed on radial springs inside the sensor. The design provides high stiffness, low deflection at rated load and good resistance to side load. AG500 has an IP65 rating and can be supplied with connector or 5 m shielded cable.
