UTM20 is developed for applications where tensile and compressive forces up to 20 kN need to be measured in a stable and reliable way. It is suitable for smaller test rigs, machine solutions and structures where space, robustness and repeatable measurement are important factors.
The force sensor is made of high quality alloy steel and has a zinc plated surface for corrosion protection. The load is measured with strain gauges connected in a full bridge, which provides an analog signal proportional to the load. UTM20 has an IP65 rating and is used for both tension and compression.
