UTM50 is used when tensile and compressive forces up to 50 kN need to be measured with stable precision. It is suitable for test rigs, machines and industrial structures where the load can be recurring and where the sensor needs to provide reliable measurement values.
The sensor is made of high quality alloy steel and is built for fatigue loading. The applied load is registered by strain gauges that provide an analog signal in relation to the load. UTM50 has a zinc plated surface, an IP65 rating and is intended for both tension and compression.
