For very high compressive loads
WK2000 is developed for applications where very large compressive forces need to be measured with a stable and repeatable signal. It is suitable for heavy industrial structures, test equipment and other applications where the sensor needs to handle high load over time.
The force sensor is made of high quality alloy steel and the load is measured with strain gauges that register axial strain and transverse contraction. The strain gauges are connected in a full bridge and protected with several layers of rubber and an outer metal cover. WK2000 has an IP65 rating and can be supplied with dual bridges when needed.
