AB50 is developed for applications where tensile and compressive forces up to 50 kN need to be measured with high reliability. The low installation height makes the sensor suitable for machines, fixtures and measurement solutions where installation space is limited but the requirements for stable measurement are high.
The force sensor is made of high quality alloy steel and has a zinc plated surface for corrosion protection. The load is registered by strain gauges placed on radial springs inside the sensor. The design provides low deflection, high stiffness and good resistance to side load. AB50 has an IP65 rating and can be supplied with connector or 5 m shielded cable.
