For smaller forces with high precision
PC0.5 is used when smaller tensile and compressive forces need to be measured with stable precision in compact applications. The low profile design makes the load cell easy to integrate into smaller systems where space, repeatability and operational reliability are important requirements.
The design is based on the parallelogram principle and the load is measured with four strain gauges in a full bridge. This provides an analog signal that follows the applied load and reduces the effect of bending moments. PC0.5 is made of high quality alloy steel, has an IP65 rating and is supplied with 5 m shielded cable.
