PZ2.5 is suitable for applications where tensile and compressive forces up to 2.5 kN need to be measured in a compact format. It is suitable for fixtures, machines and test solutions where a stable signal and easy integration are important requirements.
The load cell is made of high quality alloy steel with a zinc plated surface for corrosion protection. Measurement is carried out with four strain gauges connected in a full bridge, which provides an analog signal proportional to the load. PZ2.5 has the same accuracy in tension and compression and should be mounted with rod ends to reduce the effect of side loads.
