For stable measurement at high load
SU200 is used when tensile and compressive forces up to 200 kN need to be measured with high reliability. It is particularly suitable for applications where the load recurs over time and where the sensor needs to provide stable measurement values under demanding conditions.
The sensor is made of high quality alloy steel and has a black chromated surface that provides good corrosion protection. The strain gauges measure axial strain and transverse contraction in a full bridge, which provides a signal that follows the applied load. SU200 has the same accuracy in both tension and compression.
